Vacationing with my family in the beautiful city of Vitebsk, we visited the dining room "Batkov hut" more than once. We tried a lot of different dishes, we liked them all, and the national cuisine is respected. The staff is polite and friendly. We will be here again, we will definitely come in. We were in Vitebsk. We wanted to visit a cafe of Belarusian cuisine. We met Batkov's hut. Very tasty cuisine. We took a chicken kebab, probably the most delicious thing I ate from chicken on fire - juicy, melts in my mouth. The pancakes were also pleasantly surprised - porous with a lot of meat. And the liqueurs, mmmm. Sea buckthorn was sampled. I liked it. As a result, we bought 2 gift sets with us. A democratic and decent place with very tasty food and a stylized interior. An institution with a fast food system by the type of dining room.The menu is varied, but quite concise, for example, the choice of soup of only 4 names is not enough, it seemed.In general, we were satisfied with the service and the taste of the dishes.The hall itself is very colorful, decorated in a national style.I was especially surprised by the toilet-the sounds of the village, then roosters are crowing, grasshoppers are chirping, then a cow is mooing.Above the toilet itself, there is a slate sheet with holes on the ceiling, which refers to a rural toilet.It smiled.Of course, this is not a place where you can celebrate an event, but it is quite possible to stop by for a delicious and affordable lunch.

We visited this dining room today. The atmosphere is incredibly pleasant, calm music, beautiful and themed interior.
The choice is quite good, there are many side dishes, types of meat.
We took about 10 positions. My choice fell on chicken soup, chicken chop, dranik and mashed potatoes as a side dish.
The soup was very pleasant, hot, moderately salty, thick enough and broth, 10/10. The puree is delicious, without lumps, there is a milky taste, but for me personally it was a huge disadvantage that it was cold, 7/10. Draniki. Very tasty, lush, were with meat, 9/10. Personally, I did not like the chop very much, although the meat is excellent, juicy, too large pieces of onion, 6.5 / 10. We also took pampushki with garlic, unfortunately, they are not warm, the taste of garlic is not particularly noticeable, 6/10. The selection of drinks is also extensive.
I took the Red Velvet cake from the desserts, here I am disappointed, the cost of this pastry is 6.64 rubles. It does not look like Red Velvet, the cake is soaked, but there is no taste, as if the cake was simply soaked in water, there is sourness, the cream does not look like cream cheese.
However, the Day-Night cake was insanely delicious, moderately sweet, perfect.
In total, we ate for 26 rubles, desserts cost 15.
I also wanted to devote time to the staff. The woman who initially served me was struck by her ignorant behavior. I visited the restaurant for the first time, not knowing the menu, I chose a dish for less than a minute, there was no queue. She, in turn, rolled her eyes, hurrying me. I will not voice the names, but I would like the employees to have at least some standards of decency. The second employee, an insanely pleasant woman, even lifted her spirits after that "incident". Overall, I would put a score of 8.5/10. As everywhere, there are disadvantages, however, the advantages outweigh.

I recommend to everyone who will be in Vitebsk to visit this institution! Batkov's Hut is a corner of Belarus, the interior is made in the national style, as it is fashionable to say, an atmospheric place. You'll lick your fingers kitchen: the most tender juicy homemade cutlets, soups, stuffed peppers, buns, cheesecakes, compotes to choose from and of course pancakes! The menu can be listed for a long time, all with fervor, with heat, but it is better to come and make sure of the quality of natural Belarusian products.
