A nice cafe with a panoramic view of the Golden Horn Bay. A funicular is going up. Desserts are delicious, tea is like everywhere else, coffee in teacups. Prices are the same everywhere - 2 coffees + 1 dessert for two = 350 lira (prices March 2024). There is nothing to see around, you can take a taxi for 200 liras to Ikea and take a walk there). The route to this cafe looked like this - Sultanahmet, aqueduct, Fatiha mosque, colored houses in Balat, Ecumenical Patriarchate, iron church on the embankment, funicular.
It's an amazing place. It is located on the hill of Pierre Loti. The view, of course, is gorgeous. But I do not advise you to go there on the weekend, the crowds of locals will not let you enjoy the place. It is better to go in the morning on a weekday.
An "Instagrammed" place. For those who want to get amazing photos from the view of the Golden Horn of Istanbul.
The view is really amazing. You can get to the place by tram from the historical part of the city. Then take the funicular to the top and you are there. It's better to be there in the morning, because there is a chance that you just won't go there by lunch. There are a lot of people. We were at 11, and there were already a lot of people. But since it started to rain, people dispersed and we were lucky😎
