One of the favorite places in Istanbul. I advise you to go to vivianna cafe, over a cup of coffee with cheesecake, Sans Sebastian will enjoy the views of the Galata Tower.(the range of desserts is good)
In the evening, there is an interesting illuminating show on the walls of the tower.I must say right away the place is crowded, especially in the evening, so for photos with fewer people it is better to choose the hours before lunch

The view from the tower is magnificent, breathtaking, inside there is a mini museum, a souvenir shop, you can take an elevator almost to the observation tower, then a couple of flights up the stairs, but it's not as stressful as it could be without an elevator, there are a lot of people. Everything would have been fine if it hadn't been for the price of 30 euros, we wouldn't have gone there for that kind of money, but we had a museum map of Istanbul, and the entrance to the tower was included in it, so we didn't deny ourselves such a pleasure, but 30 euros is definitely not worth it.

I recently visited the Galata Tower, and it was amazing! The 14th century tower, built by the Genoese, impresses with its history and views. Going upstairs, you feel the spirit of antiquity. And from the top there is a magnificent panorama of Istanbul and the Bosphorus.

I was here in March 2024, closed for reconstruction. The area nearby is very busy. I lived in a hotel nearby, I didn't regret it at all, the location is excellent. All posters show the price of 30 €, however, you will not be able to buy a ticket at this price (although the pleasure is quite overpriced), only together with the audio guide + 350lir. And if you don't have access to the Internet, then this guide will just be a pair of headphones that were given to you along with a dead weight ticket (a record of the guide from the museum's Internet site). And the cost of communication in Turkey is really not the cheapest pleasure - add to the ticket price and there will be an exorbitantly unrealistic tariff for a simple viewing platform. Of all the main attractions in Istanbul, the tower is definitely not worth a visit

Башня - символ Стамбула. Расположена недалеко от Галатского моста. Подняться к башне удобно на фуникулере. Основной подъем на лифте, что очень удобно и немного нужно подняться по лестнице.
Панорама с высоты башни не уникальна, но красива. Помимо панорама на разных этажах башни история венецианского города Галата.
Расстроила даже не цена 350лир, хотя дороговато, но большая очередь. В жару стоять утомительно.
