We had a rest in July 2024 at the house of the hostess Tamuna, in the Joekvar gorge. We had a very cozy room for three with amenities, air conditioning and a refrigerator. A magnificent view from the window directly onto the mountain gorge! Silence, birdsong! Convenient location - 15-20 minutes to the sea at a calm pace, almost in a straight line, returning home you do not need to climb the mountain. Along the way there are shops with everything you need and several canteens, we went to the canteen on the square, it's wonderful! The others just weren't, I think, good ones too.
We walked along the gorge, along the mountain river. Two in one - the sea and the mountains, it's a fairy tale! There are many attractions, excursions, historical sites within walking distance.
The owners of the house are very hospitable, they will always help, come to the rescue, advise ...
In general, we really liked everything! We will definitely come again! A great place for a very reasonable fee.
We have been vacationing at Tamuna's for the second year, now we were in July 2024. There are 3 cabins on the territory, each with a capacity of up to 5 people. A great offer for a vacation with a family or a large company. The cabins have cable TV, air conditioning, wardrobe, table, refrigerator, kettle, free WI-FI, toilet and shower, set of towels. A clean house, good bed linen, comfortable pillows and a mattress (this is very important).
Very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, you can use the barbecue. There is a washing machine and a floor dryer for things, each house has its own.
The house is located on a quiet street in the Joekvar gorge, but everything is within walking distance: Seaside Park, Gagripsh restaurant, Prince of Oldenburg Castle, Abaat fortress, Colonnade. On the way to the sea there are small shops, cafes, canteens, a pharmacy, and tour desks.
Clean, cozy, beautiful and close to the sea. The hostess of the Tamuna house turned out to be a bright, welcoming and endearing person!
Living in her house was incredibly comfortable!
If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I advise you to come here.
We went to Gagra for the first time. We were in Pitsunda as a child. Time has passed and I don't remember anymore. It is not in vain to visit Abkhazia, we will go again sometime. We had a good rest in Joequar, ate delicious food, especially kharcho, and swam the clear sea. The residents are friendly. Many sights can be seen. Close to the house, take a walk along the embankment and there is a park, many beautiful trees. The hostess is excellent, the room is clean and everything is comfortable. And we were happy with the trip. And thanks to my husband Tamuna, we were escorted to the Psou at 3 a.m.
