Bad Experience from Staff.
Me and my wife were visiting yerevan and saw lot of good reviews about this place and thought of visiting. Very cozy place and the waitress was in a hurry for everything. We ordered items from yandex reviews. stracciatella salad was wonderful and the drinks were too. The photo is of pork bbq and we were confused if we can eat the veggies because they came with stem and felt unclean and small 5 pieces of pork. Pork was very chewy and difficult to eat (wasn’t that cheap as well). On top of that, waitress was waiting for us to finish the food so she can take the plate or glass. That was bit weird and disrespectful for us because there was a table next to us full of used plates and glasses and she didn’t even bother to look at it. And she wouldn’t even ask before taking the plate/glass.
I spoke to the manager about it and she ‘kind of’ apologized.
We felt like this was racist towards us because we really wanted to try good armenian food and this is the treatment we got.
The place is touristy, but very pleasant! They are always greeted as the most welcome guests. I tried many dishes, and everything was great! The service is very good. The guys are attentive, responsive and have a sense of humor. We often found a place without a reservation, but it is better to book in advance.
The name speaks for itself or a review of a restaurant of a large chain in Yerevan!
Very tasty food, especially bread. The serving of many dishes is instagrammed, beautiful for the look and photo!)
The fish will be cleaned, the meat will be cut, Napoleon will be cut out of a huge cake.
We liked everything we ordered.
The service is good and fast. They quickly sat down at the table, the menu, all the dishes were taken out instantly.
The location is convenient, but I can't say anything about the design: it's ordinary. We were sitting in the hall, where there was an open kitchen with pastries and there were women who bake pita bread with their own hands - it was interesting to peek)
What I didn't like was the prices: some dishes are very expensive, and when requesting a glass of wine, they brought out glasses of white for 4500 drams(!) that even for Moscow, the price is wow)
Total: I advise you to visit the place. Be sure to order different types of bread, pita bread is just 100 out of 10. Be careful with the prices)
Well, what can I say. They came thanks to the beautiful videos of Napoleon and a bag of pita bread. Among the advantages: the portions are large, the dishes are delicious, the prices are acceptable, the interior is beautiful. But maintenance is a separate kind of hidden aggression. The waiter did not introduce himself, casually poured lemonade, spilled it on the table. We ordered Napoleon and we were interested in serving it when they cut in front of us. He said that Napoleon was not enough, he would book. Well ok. But when we informed him that when he was cut in front of us, it caused violent emotions of negativity, he put aside a piece for us and wanted to bring it. Did we ask for that? Why put it off? If later you brought out a new huge piece to the rest of the guests? Or do you think that the guests are idiots? You could clarify whether the pitch is important to us or the cake is important to us. Well, it's not comme il faut to behave like that. The client is always right, even when he is wrong, and that was objectively not the case. Work on your service. Moreover, surprisingly, he served the table behind us as friendly as possible, introduced himself, but the dialogue was in Armenian. In general, you can talk a lot about the disadvantages of the service, and it was not pleasant for me, as an ethnic Armenian. I will not come back to you again, I will not advise anyone. We didn't get any pleasure) we just satisfied our hunger)
A great place, not an expensive kitchen. They cook deliciously, the products are fresh. Polite waiters, and located near the center. A great place to spend time with your loved one/family. For 10 thousand drams, you can eat well, a company of 4 people. I really liked the place. Whenever possible, he always comes here.
We were at Lavash on 11/24/24. A free table here at the weekend is a great success. I read in the reviews about the spectacular serving of dishes - and it really is!
I liked the large selection of dishes, the friendly staff, and the interior. There is a veranda.
They ordered flatbread with herbs, chicken kebab, beef stewed in pumpkin and dogwood compote. Everything is very tasty! The prices for the restaurant are adequate, plus you need to adjust for the portion size - they are impressive. To try different things, it's worth going with a big company.
The kitchen is at a high level. We went in for dinner, lunch and breakfast. Everything is delicious and exquisite. Pleasant background music. The staff is very friendly. Separately, we convey our compliments to the charming and charming Lusina.
I like it here. It is delicious, cozy, many dishes of Armenian cuisine with an interesting presentation, unusual desserts, if European cuisine and borscht, for example. On the downside, I'm not the only one, it's usually crowded here, and it's better to book a table in advance
Gorgeous. Very tasty, unusual service, friendly staff. Normal prices. I liked eggplant with tarragon sauce, khinkali, lamb kebab, lemonade with pomegranate and dogwood, pomegranate wine. The table was booked in advance, there are a lot of visitors.
Everything is very beautiful, tasty, satisfying, the portions are large. The average price tag. I would especially like to thank Mariana, she welcomed us hospitably, helped us choose the dish, and answered all our questions.
One of the highest quality restaurants in the center of Yerevan, a combination of price and quality, good menu, fast delivery, customer-oriented staff, close-knit team. We have been more than 5 times.
Friends invited us to this restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the waiters have a sense of humor 👍The food is delicious, the serving is quite fast, we sat down wonderfully. We will definitely come back again.
A must-visit! Don't even read the reviews, just book a table and come. Amazing atmosphere in the place, friendly staff, delicious food.
My choice:
- main course lavash (a large piece of perfect meat with cheese and cabbage);
- veal hashlama (top 3 of everything I tried on the trip);
- wine and used lemonade.
In the evening, there is a full landing, so it is better to arrive either before 19:00 or book in advance. The portions of the dishes are standard for Armenia. I recommend a mandatory visit!
Nice place, delicious food. The staff is polite, it was nice to visit with the whole family. The menu is not very diverse, but everyone will find something to their liking. The prices are restaurant prices. You only need to book in advance.
On the advice of a local resident, we came to have dinner.
Delicious. Satisfying. Hospitable!
A portion of Caesar was enough for 2. The shoulder of lamb with potatoes is simply divine (one serving was enough for 2 adults and 2 children), the square is soft. Hummus with eggplant is tender. And what an assortment of smoked Armenian mmmi fish..
The food is amazing, the service is super. It is advisable to book a table in advance, as the restaurant has a very large rental. The toilet wants the best... since the places with tables on the street and the ground floor go to one.... There is no division into male and female. Only this one minus, but I put 5+ for the kitchen.
It seemed that it would be better. A well-promoted institution. But there are better places. But on the whole it's not bad. Nicely. Napoleon's signature dessert..big chunks, delicious, but crumbly and crumbs all over the table afterwards. I recommend.
One of the advantages is that it is located in the city center. Of the cons. You come here and think that this is a great place for tourists, but no. We came here on the recommendation of some blogger or saw it in a video somewhere else. We approached the administrator and asked him to find a place. All the tables were occupied, so we went to the second floor. On the second floor, we were offered near the toilet. And then the French followed us and also wanted to find at least some table. After not looking at this restaurant with a "sea" of tourists, they refused. Since the prices here, as in the whole city, are high, but the cleanliness is not up to par. It's understandable that there are a lot of people, but we weren't happy about that either. As a result, they left and went first to the neighboring restaurants and there, too, the cleanliness of the room was not pleasing, but there were fewer people. In general, there was a great restaurant on the next street, where we had lunch.
A great restaurant. Very tasty dishes of national cuisine, wine, fast delivery, high-quality service, pleasant interior. Full boarding, it is better to book tables in advance.
It is very tasty, the snacks are simply bombastic, the portions are very large. Cozy, clean. The waiters are just super, imperceptibly, unobtrusively, but always on time. I recommend it directly
A wonderful restaurant. An extensive menu of national cuisine, super cocktails, excellent, courteous service. I liked everything. It is located in the city center. Exactly for the visit.
I want to return to Yerevan, just to try some dishes in this restaurant again, I haven't eaten such a delicious dolma anywhere yet.
P.S. I returned to Yerevan three years later and first of all went to this restaurant, where my mother and I had lunch a couple of times, dolma and eggplant rolls are still delicious, I took another eggplant salad, I didn't like the new serve, then it looked aesthetically beautiful and this tarragon sauce is just bombastic, I took it again just because of it, and when it's all mixed up it's not the same, the old photo, this time I didn't take pictures
I love this place, it is always very tasty, and especially thank you for the waitress Lucine, friendly, responsive, will advise everything, the sweetest. Thank you for her separately❤
A very old and very good restaurant with Armenian cuisine . The price tag is above average, as it is popular, but the portions will surprise everyone. The service is excellent. The workload of the restaurant speaks for itself
We have been here many times. Excellent service, beautiful presentation, varied menu, pleasant atmosphere. Very tasty. There are many national and familiar dishes.
It's amazingly delicious!! I liked it so much that we returned a day later. Nrané soup, lamb with dolma, pumpkin, pumpkin soup, salads. Homemade lemonade. Everything is great! The second time we booked a table in advance. People work with their hearts.
Top location in the center of Yerevan. It's at the highest level, but! Yerevan is full of similar establishments-therefore 4 stars. And the service is great-very nice helpful guys, fast, attentive (maybe they impose more expensive drinks). The kitchen is super. Complex dishes, pleasant serving, very tasty! The atmosphere is pleasant, the toilet is clean and tidy. The prices are expensive.
Guys, it's not tasty and that's it. It's bland. All the hot dishes were served cold, although they were taken out quickly enough, and the soup (an appetizer, soup and khinkali were ordered) was brought last!!! This is the first time I've seen this. How is it, and if coffee had probably been ordered, it would have been the first...Because I 'm ready first ... And the soup was cold too! I do not recommend it. Maybe, of course, the set of dishes did not allow you to enjoy the exquisite taste. But the waitress promised that she would absolutely like everything. Alas...
How delicious it is here!!!
We were on Friday evening, we booked in advance, otherwise we wouldn't get in.
We took avan (assorted dolma - the most delicate leaves, juicy, thin with a little finger, and stewed veal ribs - the softest), trout (I forgot what the dish is called when it is unwrapped, boneless and baked) - it's just a dump of the head!
Eggplant salad with tarragon sauce is very tasty!
And delicious homemade pomegranate wine)))
The waitress was wonderful - nimble, essentially, with a sense of humor and unobtrusive - a dream!
I definitely recommend you to visit!
Great place, delicious food, friendly staff. The work of the staff is a special pleasure. I have never seen such a strong and friendly team anywhere. I highly recommend you to visit.
In general, everything is delicious and decent, as a gift they gave a couple of glasses of milk) but the staff requires training, and this probably applies to all establishments in Yerevan, either because tips are included in the bill or for reasons of disrespect for Russian tourists, the attitude of the staff is not very pleasant, they treat you as named to the guest, 3 stars for the dishes
A very nice place. With polite, trained staff.
We were with the whole family, we liked everything.
The only thing I would advise the waiters is not to be too intrusive for introverted visitors.
