The National Library of Belarus impresses with its modern architectural design and majestic structure. It is a convenient space for work and reading, as well as a variety of events and exhibitions that are held regularly. The site offers access to unique resources, including rare books and documents.
The library is a real symbol of Minsk, its unique shape and style attract the attention of both locals and tourists. Panoramic windows offer a magnificent view of the city, which makes the visit not only useful, but also aesthetically pleasing.
In general, this place is not only a repository of knowledge, but also a dynamic cultural and educational center that plays an important role in the life of Minsk and Belarus.
Climbing to the observation deck of the National Library of Belarus is a truly exciting adventure. Being at a dizzying height, you discover amazing views of Minsk, as if you feel yourself on the roof of the world.
From a bird's-eye view, you can admire the panorama of the city, feeling its pulse and energy. Minsk opens up to you in all its beauty and diversity, as if you have witnessed a majestic symphony of architecture and nature.
This great experience not only allows you to enjoy the beautiful views, but also to feel the greatness and uniqueness of this city. Climb up to the observation deck of the National Library of Belarus and allow yourself to plunge into the world of beauty and greatness that opens up to you from a height.
I go here to study and prepare for exams, I really like this place, it's quiet, calm, there are several comfortable halls. One of my favorite opportunities is to order a coworking, there are several equipped coworking rooms where you can spend up to 4 hours. The staff is always friendly and calm. I recommend the library as a place to study and relax!
Admires with its architecture and organization of the space near the Library. It is considered the largest exhibition hall in the Republic of Belarus. The panoramic elevator goes up to the 23rd floor - this is the place for the best views of the Eastern Gate of Minsk and the surrounding area. There are binoculars on the site, as well as indications of what is far below, if you look in the right direction. The playground is secure, fenced with high glass and safe for all visitors and children. It was not possible to get into the library itself due to the weekend. On the 22nd floor there is a cafe Graf Kafe with delicious food and an art gallery. The place charges 100%!!
The library building impresses with its scale and unusual shape (rhombocuboctahedron), and its location on a hill allows you to enjoy stunning views of the city from the top platform.
The library tour exceeded all our expectations. The guide turned out to be very interesting and knowledgeable, he told us many interesting facts about the history of the library, its architectural features and modern functions.
We were particularly impressed by the fact that the national flags of Belarus are flying on many high-rise buildings in Minsk. This gives the city a special atmosphere and pride in the country.
Also a pleasant surprise was a visit to the museum cafe on the territory of the library. The panoramic view of the city, the cozy atmosphere and the delicious food made our lunch unforgettable.
We advise everyone to visit this unique place and plunge into the atmosphere of Belarusian hospitality and culture! :)
Best regards, Apartments Crown39
We will be glad to see you among our guests!
A great library both in terms of tourism and professionally. There are a lot of books on various topics, a unique service in the form of book delivery on special monorails, as well as a lot of other innovations, which is amazing, especially considering that the building was built in 2006. Well, the observation deck, of course, has a beautiful view. I definitely recommend you to visit if you have never been there.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff of our library.
I come there almost every day to prepare for exams. The atmosphere is inviting.
Polite guards at the turnstiles, tactful librarians. Especially Kuznetsova Margarita is a charming girl who explained the scheme of getting books, suggested where to go and answered all the questions, in general, to the very heart.
From the outside it looks big and huge on a large scale. There is a large spacious area around it. There is a huge shopping center nearby. Beautiful apartment buildings. There are 3 floors inside the library. It took about 40 minutes . Nothing special. For those who want to read a book in peace, this is a great place. In order to see something interesting, you will not see anything except galleries, and even then they are not particularly interesting, it is better to go to the National Art Museum.
Our diamond. There is an observation deck, an entrance and a ticket office at the back of the building, the library is super, as a student it just saved me, I wrote a complicated diploma in Business law in the hall for undergraduates, super, lamps, tables, a lot of space, only I would like the light to be brighter, exhibitions are held periodically, and special thanks to the organizers for the Night of 2024, there were so many events. that it was unrealistic to visit everything, and quests, and dances, and lectures. concerts, games, a fashion show for babies, the sea, the view from the windows is beautiful, especially in the evening, when the lights are on, cool illuminated dancers were hired to close the Bible Night, an awesome number, and the charismatic guys closed -so smiling, very positive. I was amazed by the book museum, many unique copies and the clock of the epochs are cool and the bison on the 1st floor, the sculpture of Frantziska Skaryna is gorgeous. The library is beautiful, special thanks for the audience with the piano, where pianists gave concerts, so many people volunteered to play on the open piano, as many talents as we have, it takes pride. Thanks to the organizers. Our relatives liked dancing in several classrooms at once very much. Very sincere.
A gorgeous place! Ultra-modern for authentic Minsk. To the right of the main entrance, you can get to the observation deck. The view is gorgeous, and the ticket costs 300 rubles. There is also a nice restaurant upstairs (we couldn't resist dessert and coffee) and a gallery where exhibitions often change. After going downstairs, we walked through the park with fountains and got to the ceramics workshop. The place is great, be sure to include it in your visiting program.
I think 99 percent of the reviews are not about the library, but about the observation deck, which is located on the roof. The observation deck is really interesting. Not Ostankino Tower, of course, but the view is really decent. There is a good and fairly inexpensive cafe on the floor below. Please note that the entrance to the observation deck is not obvious enough. For guidance, the library should be bypassed on the left, focusing on a large car park. Many people go to the right and make a full circle)))))
I put 4 only because it is one of the main attractions of the city. And the rest... We decided with a friend to visit the observation deck of the library and, since this is a paid event, we went to get a ticket like normal people through the main entrance. Not finding the ticket office where tickets are sold, we went to the information window. There was a young lady standing against the opposite wall. We asked how to get to the observation deck. She said something softly and waved her hand vaguely to the side. Since there was music playing in the building, we didn't hear it and asked again. The young lady, without changing her position and without coming closer to the window, silently pointed us to the sign to our right, which indicates how to get to the ticket office of the observation deck. I.e. she was so busy that it was difficult for her to explain to us in words! It would be nice if there was a queue and she was tired of repeating everything, although this is an information window and, in my opinion, this is her job. And then we and a few other people were looking for an entrance to climb to this very site using vague signs.. And there is one ticket office and a long queue of people, including foreign tourists. But at 16.00 the ticket office closed for a technical break and people were waiting for 15! minutes until the ticket office opens. Why not make two cash registers that would work in turn so as not to inconvenience people? In general, we are looking at Europe, and the service leaves much to be desired... However, in fairness, I must say that once you get to the top, you forget about all the negative aspects, the view from above is amazing!
The library's observation deck is amazing. There is a reliable fence, the views are amazing, there are telescopes and descriptions of places. I highly recommend a panoramic elevator - an interesting experience. On the 22nd floor there is a cozy cafe with views of Minsk.
I definitely recommend you to visit.
The National Library of Belarus in Minsk. You can take the metro to Vostok station and walk to the library. Convenient location. A very interesting design of the library building, which is popularly called a diamond or peeled potato. An interesting feature of the building is that there is an observation deck on the roof of the building, from where you can see the city from above.
It is a great place, we try to visit it on every trip to Belarus. The roof offers a beautiful view of the city.
There is also a fly in the ointment: problems with ventilation in the premises, the lack of branded tickets to the observation deck, the re-equipment of the roof with security elements, which lose all the thrill of exploring the city from a height.
There are a lot of books in the library itself, as well as a stall at the entrance selling beautiful Belarusian books on history and ethnography. We always visit them too.
Be sure to visit!! A large-scale, high-tech, cozy, most interesting building and place! It is located near the metro. It is better to arrive at the observation deck by the time of ticket sales. They are launched in batches. The elevator is panoramic. There is an opportunity to climb to the open roof.
A unique building with an unusual shape. I did not visit the library itself, but I was on the 22nd floor, there is a small gallery and cafe, and on the 23rd floor there is an observation deck with a beautiful view of the city. There are binoculars. The library is located at 116 Nezavisimosti Ave. The full ticket is 8 Belarusian rubles, 5 discounted, children are free.
A huge building in the shape of a rhombocuboctahedron. In front of the building there is a monument to the first printer of Belarus. With spacious halls and a large collection of books. At the top there is an observation deck with a gallery of paintings by local artists. We wanted to see the building illuminated at night, but unfortunately, only advertising was broadcast on the building in the evening
The perfect place.
It is cool in summer, warm and bright in winter.
It's a pleasure to come once a week to the new arrivals department, and then go down to the 1st floor and have a coffee.
You can choose a room for any vibe: a large/small reading room, a table between shelves with books or choose a secluded armchair with large windows 😍
There is free WiFi and there are always several free exhibitions.
The building itself is incredibly beautiful, the library area is very gentrified, cleanliness is monitored.
The view from the observation deck is stunning, at a cost of 10 Belarusian rubles.
The approach to the edge is limited by a grate and glass, but this does not prevent you from enjoying the view at all. Everything is safe.
A gorgeous futuristic building. Cafes, toilets, a souvenir shop inside. There is available parking. The metro is a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful view from the observation deck of the city. Insanely beautiful backlight in the dark time of the day.
It's a very beautiful building. Interesting appearance.
But there is, but. The cost of entrance tickets to the observation deck is overstated. There are no discounts for preschool children and students from the Russian Federation. There are also no discounts for disabled people of the 3rd group. This turned out to be the only completion in the Republic of Belarus, where there are no benefits for citizens of the Union state.
I hope the administration will take this fact into account and correct itself.
A wonderful innovative architectural structure, inspired by the modern spirit of the time, it was not possible to visit the library itself, but it was possible to meet the sunset and look at the city from the height of the observation deck). Then you can continue to contemplate the city in a cozy cafe that is located below on the 22nd floor)
An interesting place to visit ... where else now to find such locations dedicated to books ... a great park area.. there is a restaurant nearby. You can climb the panorama. It is illuminated in the evening, but you could have come up with ... more interesting lighting ... it would have been space)
The architecture is amazing, it looks very impressive. There is a cafe and an observation deck upstairs, and a panoramic elevator rises very quickly. You can enjoy the view of Minsk from above, look through binoculars and learn some historical details.
The building itself is very interesting and grandiose, it is worth a visit. There is an opportunity to take a panoramic elevator to the roof of the building to admire the views of Minsk from a height of 23 floors. But the only thing that is a little upsetting is the glass screens that are installed there for safety. They're not completely transparent anymore. In general, it would be better if cables were stretched there instead, for example, as on the stairs on the way to the roof from the elevator, they give a more complete feeling of freedom and flight.
Very cool! Well done! The observation deck is good. Cafe superr!! There was an exhibition of paintings - I also really liked it. If it's your first time in Minsk, I advise you to visit the library and take a walk in the park around it
A beautiful, thoughtful building, an excellent guide, told and showed everything. Pleasant interiors, it was interesting to compare. It is similar to the library named after him.Lenin in Moscow) a lot of glass, thanks to this a lot of light
Comfortable reading places. There are separate reading booths. You can read on the sofas by the fountains. The catalog of electronic books is huge. You can make an order at home. There are buffets. The Book Museum. You can go up to the observation deck.
There is a cool observation deck in the library, I really like to go to it in a transparent elevator, the playground is equipped with binoculars, I visit 2-3 times a year, I come at such a time to watch the sunset. 4 stars, because the windows are dirty, and you have to hold your phone dangerously to take beautiful sunset pictures
There is always an exhibition, I definitely visit and there is also a cafe, but I don't go there, very close to DanaMall with a footcourt and P. Mstislavets Street, where you can eat well!
We were on the observation deck of the National Library. The view, of course, is amazing! But be prepared for the fact that the observation elevator, which takes you to the 23rd floor, will be occupied. And if there is a delegation there, you risk not getting into it at all. You will be offered to take the usual service elevator. Of course, after the inspection, you can go down on the observation deck. But again, you have to wait from 5 to 15 minutes. This, of course, somewhat spoiled the impression, but it's still worth going up.
A very interesting building. Grandiose. It's impressive. There is an observation deck. Parking is free nearby.
It looks beautiful. There is a wonderful park with fountains nearby. You can take a walk, relax your body and soul)
A great place to explore. Interesting exhibitions. Rare books. There is a lot of space for reflection. Musical events are organized. I was lucky enough to participate in a musical event as a poetry reader. It was wonderful!
An interesting place to visit that leaves mixed feelings. The building itself is admirable, the views from the panoramic elevator and from the observation deck are breathtaking. However, the fence of the observation deck prevents ventilation, so in hot weather it is very stuffy there and there is a high risk of heat stroke, because there is not much Shade there. However, it is possible to go down to the floor below, where a small art gallery is arranged around the perimeter of the building, there are places where you can sit and the air conditioners do not work. Plus a small cafe. And all this without leaving the paid area, so you can return back to the observation deck at any time. I will also note a very large parking lot nearby, which is very convenient
The building is impressive in scale, the library has 23 floors. Everyone is attracted by the night view of the building, but it is definitely worth visiting the observation deck on a sunny summer day, a very green and beautiful Minsk will conquer you)
There are good excursions where you can learn a lot about the library, but I haven't been to one for a long time, maybe everything has changed. I spilled a drink there once, the guards told me not to clean it up, which is quite strange. You can work out with lessons if you practice tutoring courses or just do self-study (since there is enough space to settle down). The pass is on the card and sometimes the security is quite unfriendly, which spoils the impression. It is better not to go up to the roof and it is strange that people are allowed there at all, because the fences are flimsy and it is scary to think what will happen if you cling to them.
The library is very beautiful and interesting)) The viewport is also great! Wonderful view! We also looked into the cafe - pancakes with cream sauce and sausages with potatoes are super tasty, the portions are large))
The pearl of Belarus. An observation deck is available to anyone. Buy a ticket at the ticket office, take the observation elevator to the top. Along the way, you can look into the exhibition gallery, see a photo exhibition or paintings. And on the way back, you can refresh yourself or buy drinks on the same floor.
Not so long ago, virtual information was added - QR codes with additional information were posted.
Big , beautiful , bright , a lot of good things can be said .
But I would like to draw the administration's attention to the fact that there is not enough rack with a direction indicator .
I went into the hall , I understand that I need to go through the turnstile , and then I need a certain office number , but I have no idea where to look . And you can only ask the turnstile guards. Maybe I didn't see the pointer, but most likely it's not there.
Then I saw the information desk on the right , but I was in a hurry and it was a long way to go .
By the way, I got the impression that the library is huge, and there are no employees in it. is it that quiet there or is everything so mechanized .
Oh, by the way, the toilet. On the 1st floor , where there is a wardrobe , there is a toilet with toilets dug into the floor . It's amazing. I'm curious what the designers are guided by when designing such toilets. This is the most unergonomical form both from the point of view of use and from the point of view of cleanliness and from the point of view of cleaning .
Minsk is a progressive city. The library impressed me. I was on the observation deck - the view of the city is amazing, there is a cozy restaurant with pleasant, polite waiters on the floor below.
A very beautiful library! Big one! What a beauty inside! Be sure to visit there! The coolest thing is, there is an observation deck. You need to go around the building and there will be an entrance to the observation deck. The whole of Minsk opens! I really liked it! A gorgeous place!
as a rule, I describe people more often than the institution. And so I really liked the staff at the library. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed, the staff are friendly and friendly. I was there for an event. The room is very pleasant, bright, large Windows, carpets everywhere on the floor. Comfortably
The lobby is impressive. Lots of air and light, interesting photo zones. Convenient access to the observation deck on the 23rd floor by a panoramic elevator, which offers magnificent views of Minsk. There is a cafe and an art gallery on the 22nd floor.
We were on an excursion. Everything is very interesting and cool! There are a lot of impressions. The guide tells not only about the exhibits, but also about the building, its construction, and the modern work of this Center of History and Science. I really liked it. We will bring our guests here in terms of exploring Belarus and Minsk.
Inside, if for the purposes of the library, everything is very well organized: places to read, listen to audio materials, installations, places to work. But mostly they go to the observation deck, they talk beautifully in the evening. It was daytime, so I found the view, but everything was done too safely, you look behind the windows and fences)
The magnificent monumental building of the library attracts you to visit it, but it turns out that you can climb to its observation deck and observe the city from a bird's-eye view. Thanks, it's cool.
If you haven't been to the National Library of Belarus yet, you should definitely plan a visit! The building in the shape of a faceted diamond creates an incredible visual effect that attracts the eye. As a symbol of the city, it sparkles with its uniqueness and modern architecture, impresses and delights, reflecting the diversity of knowledge and cultural heritage. Spacious halls and cozy reading areas create an ideal environment for studying and immersing yourself in books. The library offers interesting exhibitions and events that make each visit unique.
P.S. And don't forget to go up to the observation deck! Watching the beautiful sunset and enjoying the picturesque view of Minsk is simply amazing! This place pleases and will remain in the memory for a long time.
The library managed to visit only the observation deck, we were impressed by how carefully everything was done, what protective structures. It was a pleasure to look at Minsk from such a height.
It was also interesting to ride the panoramic elevator, it not only quickly took us to the right floor, but also prepared us for the beautiful views.
A modern building.it is necessary to visit it.on the 23rd floor (take the observation elevator)There is an observation deck on the roof. The view is amazing.Within walking distance of the metro. On the 22nd floor, we visited a photo exhibition.there is also a cafe there.I recommend it!
