The beaches of Turkey on the Mediterranean Sea are certainly gorgeous. It's wide and the sand is nice. There were five of us. We took 4 deck chairs for 200 lire. We settled down under two umbrellas and stretched a tent awning between them. And it turned out to be a large space in the shade. It was hot. We were by car and waited all day for the ferry to Cyprus. Therefore, it was necessary to escape from the sun somehow. We had a great time. I've heard a lot of different things about Mersin before. We did not enter the city itself, but took a detour. But we liked Tashuju. Quietly. There aren't many people. The beaches are great!
I come to this beach every year!let's start with the pros; swimming is very convenient, you enter the water almost immediately to the waist and a little further to the chest, and such a depth is far enough away that you can swim far from the shore without any problems, even for those who do not know how to swim.there is a sports ground, as well as stalls with drinks and ice cream, a mini market and a hotel right by the beach.a little further away there are 500 meters of cafes and a bunch of shops.including grocery items. You can have a delicious meal.
On the downside, the beach sand with rough pebbles and always mixed with debris from sunflower seeds and cups, the beach itself is long but narrow, 5 meters from the pedestrian path to the water is not comfortable, prices have increased 3 times over the next couple of years.
An absolutely amazing place. Warm water in the middle of October. Calm sea. There is enough space, there are sun beds, umbrellas to protect from the sun, changing rooms, the beach is sandy, the descent into the sea is gentle, the bottom is very clean, there are no stones, there is not much entertainment, but we did not need to, we came for the wrong reason! We came to this place for the second time, I recommend it. 10 out of 10!
