It is mandatory to visit. By all means climb up to the observation deck and take your time, you need to stay there for at least 20 minutes to look around.
Employees of the museum pose half-naked on a balcony in front of the whole city to attract visitors to the museum. I wonder if such an action has helped to increase attendance?
Very interesting expositions. The tour to the top of the Town Hall is impressive. The views of the city from above are fascinating. And, of course, memories of childhood.
A very interesting museum, which consists of 5 different sections. You can probably buy a ticket for one of them to choose from, but I took the full ticket. Plus, you can also buy a ticket separately to climb the town hall itself with an accompanying person. It is a very interesting activity and an opportunity to see the Resurrection Church and the city from above.
This museum contains exhibits and evidence of the history of our beloved city of Vitebsk from ancient times, when it was founded to the present. Every visitor to the museum will discover something new.
I haven't visited local history museums for a long time, the expectations were higher.
There is a separate ticket for each hall. Some expositions are not related to the history of Vitebsk :(((
Overall: interesting, beautiful, clean. Guests of the city should visit.
It's a good place, though the expositions on the floors are a little sparse. I recommend going up to the observation deck - it's worth it: the views are beautiful and you can't find a better one in Vitebsk
Autumn is a good museum, located in a beautiful Town Hall building with a great view from the observation deck, it's a pity that they only let you in in summer
It's a horror, not a museum!! The children were taken to the museum when the doors and railings were painted!! the children felt discomfort during the tour!! and we also conducted an excursion in the downpour!! horror.
The success of any excursion depends on the professionalism and skill of the guide. I liked the room so much in these five meters that I will be happy to visit it again. It was very interesting: both history and nature.
Friendly staff, I highly recommend climbing the tower, it is interesting for both children and adults, the prices are affordable, the exhibitions are different, I liked everything. I recommend.

Be sure to climb the observation tower, the view is wonderful.
I was at the personal exhibition of the artist Andrey Dukhovnikov. A lot of warm emotions, I am very pleased with the visit, I was with my daughter, the child is delighted. There are more such personal exhibitions.
A wonderful Soviet museum with Soviet staff, full immersion in history. The price of visiting the expositions is more than budget-friendly and this is good news.
It will be interesting for people of all ages, permanent exhibitions in which you always find something new. And of course there are interesting visiting expositions. For example: Giant spiders.
a great place, with a large number of exhibits and a small observation deck overlooking the panorama of the city. The guide Anastasia is just a miracle! =)
There is a rich exposition, but in most halls the lighting is so weak (one can say absent) that you have to highlight it with your phone. In one hall, the exhibits are signed only in Belarusian, or not signed at all.
